Spring-filled, Vintage-Inspired Outdoor Bridal Session

The bridal session for Cheyenne was an absolute dream come true, filled with vintage charm and springtime vibes. The overall style and vision for the shoot was a combination of vibrant, modern elements mixed with vintage details, creating a unique and unconventional atmosphere. The inspiration for this shoot came from the beautiful surroundings of Palos Verdes Estates and Rolling Hills in the South Bay of Los Angeles, as well as my love for all things thrifted and intentional.

Concept, Mood Board & Vision

To bring this vision to life, I created a mood board that captured the essence of what I wanted to achieve. The board featured images of blooming flowers, delicate & dainty details, and pastel colors that exuded femininity and grace. It also included elements of nature such as woven baskets and lush greenery to create a garden party feel. Each detail was carefully chosen to fit the overall theme and add depth to the photoshoot.

Please note: All imagery placed within the mood board is solely used as inspirational purposes only- these images were from other photographers and photography businesses.

Her Vintage Gown

One of the most exciting parts of this shoot was Cheyenne’s stunning silk gown that she had thrifted for the occasion, as well as her wedding day to compliment the dress she is planning to wear for her wedding ceremony.

The all-white dress featured intricate beading on the straps and a cathedral-style train that added a touch of elegance. The dainty details on the dress perfectly complemented Cheyenne’s natural beauty and added to the vintage vibe we were going for.

Accessories, Special Details

In addition to the dress, we incorporated various accessories and props into the shoot to add more depth and character. These included Mischa Bagley heels, which added a touch of modernity to the vintage-inspired look. We also used a cathedral-length veil that added drama to some shots while showcasing Cheyenne’s radiant beauty.

Another highlight of this shoot was using a pearled mesh shawl as an accessory for some shots. This piece added texture and dimension to the photos while also adding an element of sophistication. Combined with Cheyenne’s stunning bouquet filled with pastel-colored springtime florals, it created an ethereal atmosphere that truly embodied the essence of a bridal session.

Special Location

The location for this shoot played a significant role in bringing the vision to life. The lush gardens and rolling hills of Palos Verdes Estates and Rolling Hills provided a picturesque backdrop for the photoshoot. The greenery and colorful flowers added to the vibrant spring-filled atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for a garden party-inspired bridal session.

As a South Bay Los Angeles photographer, I was thrilled to capture this unique and unconventional bridal session in such a beautiful location. The combination of vintage elements with modern touches created a chic and timeless look that perfectly embodied Cheyenne’s personality.

Wrapping It Up

In conclusion, Cheyenne’s bride-focused photoshoot session was nothing short of magical. From the thrifted silk gown to the carefully selected accessories and props, every detail came together to create an unforgettable experience. With its vintage charm, spring-filled vibes, and intentional choices, this shoot truly captured the essence of a modern-day bride in all her beauty.
